Emma Akers

AKERS, EMMA GENE, 85, of Pleasureville, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Baptist Hospital Northeast, in the Oak Tree section. Emma was a native of Pineville, Bell Co., class of 1942. She was a member of Henry Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Akers. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lester L. Akers. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2009, at Heady Radcliffe, LaGrange with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
