SMITH, EMMETT MANEY, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010.
He was the son of the late Orva Ray and Iona Grant Smith.
He was an United States Army veteran and a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Emmett was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; and brother, James Smith.
His daughters, Carla (Paul) Arnett and Michelle Collins; three grandchildren, Makenzie, Ayden and Liam Arnett; and one sister, Mary Rath, survive him.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Emmett will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
