RONE, ERNEST R., 82, passed away at his home June 16, 2013.
He was a carpenter and Army veteran of Korea, he also loved to garden and go fishing.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Corby and Mabel Rone.
He is survived by his loving wife of two years, Bertha E. Rone; daughters, Janet Green and Jeannie Texter; son, John Mahoney; grandchildren, Erin Phillips, Marlena Florney and John Ernest Mahoney; three great-grandchildren, Madison and Lillian Phillips and Sydney Florney; brothers, Thurmon and Kelly Rone; and two sisters, Pauline Blanton and Lola Foley.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
