Estelle Cauley ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book CAULEY, ESTELLE, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit of Baptist Hospital East. Her work on earth is now finished and she has gone home to rest. Estelle was a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church and a retired employee of J.C. Penny where she worked for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Levy; son, Herb; and siblings, Kathleen, Pauline, Josephine and Raymond. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Richards (George); sons, Dan Cauley, and Mark Cauley (Patti); daughter-in-law, Marianne Cauley; brother, Melvin Jones (Phyllis); sister, Loraine Keith; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to her church or the local Special Olympics.
