Esther C. Arbuckle ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book ARBUCKLE, ESTHER C., 87, of Shively, passed from this life Sunday, May 3, 2009 at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Esther Blackerby, a member of the Order Of Eastern Star Bullitt Chapter, and a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Billy French; and a son, Leslie Arbuckle. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Billy B. Arbuckle; a daughter, Barbara Ann Raymer; five grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Arbuckle's life will be held noon Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
