Eugene Fey

Fey Sr., Eugene C. FEY, EUGENE C. SR., 75, husband of Ann P. Fey, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007. Born in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late William and Sophie Fey. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Local #110 as a sheet metal worker. He was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church and the VFW Post 6269. Survivors other than his wife include children, Tina, Terri, Jimmy (Lisa), Mike, John, Gene Jr. (Pam), Barbara (Shad) and Karen (David); sisters, Irene (Bob), Mary and Betty (Jack); 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 2200 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Published in The Courier-Journal on 6/9/2007
