Shackleford, Eugene "Gene" Sr.,76, went home to his Lord, Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.He was born in Middlesboro, KY. To Pearl & Mary Jane (Russell) Shackleford. Gene was a retired from Alcoa Aluminum with 24 years service.He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry Partin.Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Joann (West) Shackleford; his sons, Eugene "Gene" Shackleford Jr. (Sherry), and Tim Shackleford (Beth); five grandchildren, Timmy, Amber, Joe (Alicia), Kaylin and Carroll-Ann; three brothers, Boyd (Doris), Clayton (Sissy) and Bill Shackleford (Nancy); and two sisters, Anna Ruth Miracle (Pete) and Brenda Brunzo (Michael).Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Mausoleum.
