Eugene Tinsley

TINSLEY, EUGENE, 82 passed away Friday, November 29, 2013. He was a native of Royal, PA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam conflict of 23 years. He also retired from Louisville Male High School as a R.O.T.C. instructor of 23 years and a member of West Chestnut Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mary F. Tinsley; stepson, Carl Walker; two brothers, Orange (Angeline) and Daniel (Dorothy) Tinsley; 2 sisters, Beulah Mack and Essie Lloyd; granddaughter, Khymberly Johnson (Leon); two great-grandchildren, Rodney, Jr. and Ta'Nease Garnett and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, from 10 a.m. -noon at his church, 1725 W. Chestnut St., with funeral service to follow at noon; Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West; Arrangements are by G.C. Williams.
