PALMYRA - Schrecker, Eva (Wood), 87, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
Mrs. Schrecker was a native of Tompkinsville, KY, a former Louisville resident and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Louis Schrecker.
Survivors include a son, David Schrecker and wife, Jackie of Palmyra; grandchildren, Michael Schrecker (Heather), Tracy Carey (Vince); great-grandchildren, Cody and Cyle Jaggers, Olivia and Addison Schrecker; siblings, Velma Staples and Omas Wood, both Louisville.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Online condolences may be made to www.kraftfs.com.
