FOLEY, FESTUS W., 89, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010.
He was a retired teacher with 30 plus years of service in KY public and private schools. He was a World War II US Army veteran, served 27 months as a POW, and was awarded the Bronze Star. He also served as a Disabled Veteran counselor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; grandson, Brian Seth Foley and great granddaughter, Eden Foley.
He is survived by sons, Wayne (Katie) and David (Debbie); daughters, Carol and Kathy Foley; brother, Ed Foley; grandchildren, Nathan, Adam, Lauren, Austin and great-granddaughter, Elin.
Funeral ceremony is 12:30 p.m. on Friday April 16th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation after 10 a.m. Burial in Louisville Memorial Garden East. Online condolences at www.newcomerlouisville.com.
