87, passed away September 10, 2014.
He was a member of Beechland Baptist Church, Valley Masonic Lodge #511 and Eastern Star Chapter #65, he retired from American Standard Co., and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois M. Hazel; and son, Brion M. Hazel.
Survivors are the children, Richard E. Hazel (Beverly), Connie Graham (David), Janice Steinbergen; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
