Florence Leonard

LEONARD, FLORENCE L., 95, of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Nazareth Home. She was the former owner and operator of the old Leonard Motel and a member of SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, James Leonard (Betty), Elizabeth Ray and Charlene Gross (Vic); five grandchildren, Jody, Jill and Jeff Leonard and Michael Ray and Rob Gross; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Nazareth Home Chapel, 2000 Newburg Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Nazareth Home Chapel. Published in The Courier-Journal on 1/26/2008.
