Floyd Quiggins

Floyd S. Quiggins, 81, loving husband to Myra (Sutton) Quiggins, passed away at home on Friday April 2, 2021.  He was born to the late Clyde, Sr., and Carrie (Sharp) Quiggins in Sonora, Kentucky on November 13, 1939.  He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Quiggins Osborne, and his siblings, Lois Kessinger, Clyde Quiggins, Jr., Ronald Quiggins, and Wayne Quiggins.

He retired from Stone Container Corporation and was a member of Thixton Lane Baptist Church.  Floyd loved to play his guitar with family and friends.

Besides his wife of 46 years he is survived by their children, Lori Hux (Doug), Dean Quiggins, and Sheryl Olivenbaum (Mickey) along with 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are to be worn at all times and social distancing is expected.
