Born in Helenwood, TN, Mrs. Sturgeon was a supervisor with Packaging Service Corporation for over 40 years.
She was predeceased by husband, Harold Sturgeon; daughter, Terry Pike; and parents, Charles Russell and Charline McDowell Miller.
Surviving family members include her daughter and husband, Sandy and Les Lathery; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, and Chasity; great-grandchildren, Kambree, Keamen, Nolan and Kinlee; brothers and their wives, Dale and Georgia Miller and Carrol and Melinda Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted noon Saturday at the Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 4400 Dixie Hwy., (447-4220) with Rev. Joe Noe officiating. Interment: Louisville Memorial Gardens. The family with gather with their friends 1-8 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
