Gregory, Francis B. View/Sign Guest Book GREGORY, FRANCIS B., 88, of South Louisville passed from this life on Saturday January 31, 2009 at his residence. He was a Baptist by faith, a retired chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy having served in World War II, a retired postal clerk, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Robert E. Newman Post, and a member of the Okolona Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Louise Gregory in June 2008. He is survived by his daughters, Rachel Gregory and Sandy Jackie (Mark); five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Gregory's life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
