FranK Beisler

BEISLER, FRANK LEO "BUD," 88, of Louisville passed from this life on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Norton Pavilion. Mr. Beisler was a retired employee of the old American Standard, the oldest member of the Knights of St. John #103 Commandery, a former member of St. Mathis Catholic Church, and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Marie Beisler; children, Nadine Marie, Rebecca Ann, Charles Leo, Dorothy and Marsha Davis; son-in-law, David Spayd; and sister, Mary Rose Beinlein. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Mudd; sons, Alan and Keith Beisler; daughters, Nada Easley and Donna Sue Spayd; step children, Bud Alpiger (Karen), Doug Alpiger (Rosy), Kevin Alpiger (Sue), Jeff and Mike Alpiger, Daniel Alpiger (Theresa), Gary Alpiger (Linda), David Alpiger (Faye), Jenny Alpiger, and Luianne Porter; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Entombment with military honors will be in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or Crusade For Children.
