McCAULEY, FRANK G. JR., 74, passed away on July 9, 2012.
He was a retired employee of Naval Ordnance, a Honorary Captain for the Belle of Louisville, and a member of the Boy Scouts for 23 years. Frank was a volunteer reader for Jefferson County Public Schools, who loved hunting, fishing, and taking music lessons where he enjoyed playing the organ. He was a devoted and dedicated member of Beechland Baptist Church where he was a deacon and served on many committees.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon June McCauley.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin McCauley (Shari), Keith McCauley (Danielle Roque) and Kurtis McCauley (Lisa); grandchildren, Ashley Kelly (Matt), Stanton, Jordan, Kayla, Mallory and Jackson McCauley; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Kelly; brothers, Ronald McCawley and Bill McCawley (Sandy); sisters, Pat Chambers and Joyce Galloway (Ray); sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Gahlinger and Dorothy Meredith Perkins; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Beechland Baptist Church, 4613 Greenwood Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Memorial gifts may be made to Beechland Baptist Church Building Fund.
