She was preceded in death by her son, Marc Carpenter.
Survivors include her husband, David Carpenter; son, Robert Tyson Carpenter; grandchildren, Trey, Savannah and Nate; brother, Michael Kelsey; loving cousins, aunt, and loving friend Judy Christian.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
