Frederick Kegenbein

KEGEBEIN, FREDERICK C., 82, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. He was born to Frank and Lillian Kegebein September 29, 1924 in Louisville. He was a retired employee of the former Belknap Hardware Co. where he worked for over 40 years, a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge No. 915 for 55 years, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Raymond Kegebein and his wife Pauline. Survivors include his wife, Delpha Ann Mays Kegebein; daughter, Jane Heil (Byron); three granddaughters, Sarah Huffaker (Chris), Shena Neal and Sheryl Neal; one great-grandson, Aaron Huffaker; and his nephew, Donald Kegebein (Linda). Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
