PORTER, GABRIEL, 87, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011.
He was a retired engineer for CSX Railroad, a member of Grace Community Baptist Church, and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, the former Della Gilpin; a brother, Kenneth; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at J.E. Ratterman and Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
