Gagel Sr., Gene Raymond View/Sign Guest Book GAGEL, GENE RAYMOND SR., 73, passed away Friday, October 5, 2007 at Britthaven South Nursing Home. He was a retired meat cutter for Gagel's Market, a Korean Navy veteran and member of the Millcreek VFW Post #5421, American Legion Post #220 and American Legion Bonnie Stone Post. He is survived by his son, Gene R. Gagel Jr., stepson, Eddie Collard; Stepdaughters, Cindy Klein and Katherine Profumo; brother, Charles Wayne Gagel; halfbrothers, Chester McCreary and Eddie Constant; sisters, Geraldine Ashcraft and Janie Smith; halfsister, Shirley Mae Warren; two grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Martha Gagel. His funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
