Genevieve Flener

Flener, Genevieve Lucille (Oakley),89, passed away in Taylorsville, KY on April 14, 2015.She was a retired 20-year employee of P. Lorillard, previous member of Eastern Star and a Baptist.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Flener, parents, Walter and Gladys Oakley; and her sisters, Patsy Ward, Geneva Campbell, and Ulave Graves.Survivors include her daughters, Judy Kannapel (Charles) and Marilyn Ashley (Paul); four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Joyce Ann Hulett.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at 2 p.m. Friday in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 - 11 a.m. Friday.
