George Cain

Cain, George CAIN, GEORGE R., 83, of Louisville, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at Kindred Hospital. He was a native of Spencer County, KY., a retired employee of American Synthetic Rubber Co., a member of Dover Chapel General Baptist Church and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Cain. He is survived by his daughters, Verna Powell, Ann Cain, Teresa Barroso and Sandra Davis; a step son, Gary Lee Mullalley; stepdaughter, Gayle Massey; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Cain's life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. A special thanks to the staff of Sts. Mary & Elizabeth and Kindred Hospitals for the kindness and care shown to our father.
