George Gawthrop Jr.

George Ottis Gawthrop Jr, 78, beloved husband of Etta, passed away on September 13, 2021 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.  He was born on January 7, 1943 in West Virginia, the son of the late George Sr. and Alta Gawthrop.  He retired from the United states Airforce after serving for 20 years.  Besides his loving wife Etta, he is survived by his son, James Gawthrop (Margaret), daughters, Rachel and Venus Gawthrop, sisters, Toby and Carolyn, grandchildren, Jamie, Sarah and Jeremy, nieces, Vickie and Kimberly, and nephews, Jim, Brian and Bradley.
