George Tyrus Goodloe | Visit Guest Book GOODLOE, GEORGE TYRUS, 86, passed away Wednesday June 23, 2010.
George was a retired engineer from International Harvester and a World War II veteran serving in the 14th Air Corps.
George was preceded in death by his mother, Camie Goodloe and father, William M. Goodloe; wife, Dolores Jeanne Goodloe; daughter, Becky Goodloe; brother, Walter "Ed" Goodloe; sister, Evelyn Hacker; and great-grandson, George E. Aaron.
George is survived by loving companion of 24 years, Lavinia Alberding; daughter, Georgann Chesser; son, Alan Goodloe (Debbie); seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 27 2010 from 3-7 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. A service celebrating the life of George will be Monday, June 28, 2010 at noon. Visitation is 11 a.m. prior to services.
