George Lyons

Lyons, George Owen,90, of Louisville, passed away Monday March 16, 2015.George was a truck driver for Industrial Coatings and a Navy Sea Bee during World War II, where he received two Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 157 of Shepherdsville, KY.He was predeceased by his loving wife, Juanita. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, John (Susan), Robert (Bonnie), Terry (Diane) and Jeff (Shirl); brother, Robert "Sonny" Lyons (Frances); 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.His funeral services will be 10:30am Friday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 W. Market St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 pm Thursday
