George K. Nelson Share E-mail Visit Guest Book NELSON, GEORGE K., 75, of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 at Jewish Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Reynolds Aluminum and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Janet Miller Nelson; sons, George (Melanie), Gary (Kim), Ronnie, and Andy Nelson; daughters, Patty Ballard (Billy) and Deanna Nelson (Lonnie); 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
