NIX, GEORGE M. JR., 69, passed away Sunday April 22, 2011.
He was retired from Colgate and a member of SS Simon & Jude Catholic Church.
George is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Delores Nix.
He is survived his wife of 49 years, Joyce Taylor Nix; daughters, Michaelle Rogers and Paula Leonard; a sister, Barbara Buren (Jim); grandchildren, Lauren and Tyler Rogers and Tara and Brandon Nix; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS Simon & Jude, 4335 Hazelwood Ave., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr.
