George Ralph

RALPH, GEORGE F., 92, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Beehive Assisted Living in Georgetown, IN.

He was a retired coordinator for the JCPS book depository, and was retired from the US Navy Reserves, having served active duty during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Shively FOP Auxiliary 17, Shively Loyal Order of the Moose 1365, VFW 6182, American Legion 220 and the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Laverne Ralph.

He is survived by a son, Richard L. Ralph (Carol); four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held at noon Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday.
