NEW ALBANY - Schrecker, George L., 89, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Autumn Woods Health Care in New Albany.
Mr. Schrecker was a native of Owensboro, KY, a former Louisville resident, and a retired employee with Lance Inc. for some 37 years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Eva Wood Schrecker; son, David Schrecker (Jackie) of Palmyra, IN; two grandchildren, Michael Schrecker (Heather) and Tracy Carey (Vince); four great-grandchildren, Cody and Cyle Jaggers, and Olivia and Addison Schrecker; and nine siblings.
His funeral liturgy will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3 at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2nd at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN.
