George W. Sermon

George W. Sermon, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024.  George was born on November 6, 1938, to the late William G. and Hazel (Johnson) Sermon, in Louisville, Kentucky.
George retired from AT&T after working many years as a switchman.  He was a University of Kentucky fan.
Preceding George in death was his parents; his sisters, Helen Allen, Margret Daly, and Dollie Burt; and his brothers, Raymond Curtis Sermon and William Jacob Sermon.
Surviving are his sons, George Timothy Sermon and Thomas Ray Sermon (Corinne); his grandchildren, Alexander Sermon and Zoey Sermon; along with many extended family members and friends.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.
