TINGLE, GEORGE C., 82, of La Grange, KY, passed away Sunday August 30, 2009 at his residence.
He was a retired truck driver, and a member of Westport Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Doris (Smith) Tingle; a daughter, Teresa Phillips (Greg); sons, Larry Tingle (Kim), and Dennis Tingle (Donna); many in-laws, and nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Oldham County Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson St., with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Monday, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to the Westport Baptist Church building fund or to Hosparus of Louisville in his memory.
