George Douglas Wester "Doug" Sr. Share E-mail Visit Guest Book WESTER, GEORGE DOUGLAS "DOUG" SR., 74, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2009.
He was retired from LG&E, a member of Beechland Baptist Church, and an Army veteran. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, Masonic Preston Lodge #281, and a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Wester, and his son, George Douglas Wester Jr.
Survivors include his brother, William Wester (Kathleen); sister, Joy Young (Billy); several nieces and nephews; and his devoted friend, Chris Miller.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1 8 p.m. Tuesday.
