He was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Army after 26 years, and a repairman for G.E.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Whiteneck; daughters, Susan Corbin and Laurie Horn; sister, Irene Brown; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
