DREXLER, GEORGIA H. "EARLENE," 80, of Louisville, formerly of Edmonson County, KY, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 surrounded by family. Earlene retired from South Central Bell after 30 years of service, was a member of Millcreek VFW, American Legion Post 220, the Friendship Club, the Wednesday Ladies, was a catholic by faith and attended St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bob; her parents and two brothers. She is survived by "her boys," sons, Marty (Shirley) and Glenn (Angie); grandsons, Nick (Tara), Aaron (Kiki), Austin; great grandson, Dare; two sisters and two brothers. A special thanks to her friends, Shirley, Rita, Lillian, Sue and her Hosparus team for their care and support. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
