BICKEL, GERALD R."JAKE," 60, passed away February 1, 2012 at his home.
He was an avid car enthusiast, and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lisa Harrod; son, Michael A. Bickel (Amy); stepson, Ronald C. Hoben (Cheryl Lynn); five brothers, Kenneth (Karen), Tony (Theresa), Mike (Cheryl), Ronnie (Vickie) and Donnie Bickel (Chrissy); and eight grandchildren, Morgan, Faith, Zachary, Jacob, Chelsey, Taylor, Ashley and Alex.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter the Apostle, 5431 Johnsontown Road, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Online condolences to www.owenfuneralhome.com.
