Geraldine Coley

BIG CLIFTY - Coley, Geraldine Hunt, 79, of Big Clifty, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 1, 1934 in Freeburn, KY the daughter of the late Clell and Rosie Robinette Coley. She was a 58 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #26, a member of the East Grayson County Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and a member of Big Clifty United Methodist Church. She is survived by three children, Anita Miller (John Frank) of Big Clifty, Jerry Dallas Coley (Marsha) of Louisville, Belinda Sue Umbel (Richard)of Vine Grove, four sisters, Alice Griffith of Mouthcard, KY, Osie Ann Owens of Mouthcard, KY, Vannie Miltimore of Leitchfield, KY and Piney Mullins of Oakwood, VA, three brothers, John Will Hunt of Phyllis, KY, Clifford Hunt of Harrodsburg, KY and Clell Hunt, Jr. of New Tazewell, TN, grandchildren, Jason Coley, Christine Umbel, Amanda Nichols, Johnny Lee Miller and Matthew Umbel and 13 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Murley D. Coley, one grandson, Joshua Coley, and one sister, Stella Mae Abshire. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. CST Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Watson and Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield, KY with Bro. Harvey Craddock and Bro. Delmer Williams officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. CST at Louisville Memorial West in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. CST on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home with an Eastern Star Service to be held at 6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. CST until time of service.
