Dunavent, Geraldine View/Sign Guest Book Donate Now DUNAVENT, GERALDINE, 76, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Jewish Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Jerry Martin; brothers, Clemon, Clyde, James (Jabo) and Dutch Martin; and sister, Hazel Posey. Surviving family includes her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Dunavent; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Kelly Dunavent; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bill Graham; grandsons, Jeremy and Tyler Graham; granddaughter, Nikki Wilcox; great-granddaughter, Hannah Dotson; sisters, Nellie Mullins Fritz, Catherine White, Betty Brooks, Charlene Moore,; brothers, Josh, Elmer and Kelly Martin. A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens Fireside Mausoleum. Family and friends may visit 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. The family prefers (if you wish) contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
