Geraldine Pike

Geraldine Pike, 85, of Irvington, Kentucky , passed away surrounded by family, on Sunday December 29, 2019 at Norton Audubon Hospital.   She was born to the late Owen and Mabel (Caple) Avitt in Louisville on August 21, 1934.

She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sonja Pike.

Geraldine worked in the cafeteria for Churchill Downs for over 30 years.  She was a wonderful mother and she loved working in her garden.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Stephen Pike (Peggy) and Tonja Monahan (Thomas) along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her fur baby, Missy.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday (1/6/20) from 2-6 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.
