Geraldine Warner, 95, wife to the late Edward Brite Warner, passed away on Friday December 20, 2019. She was born to the late Henry A. and Marie (Richardson) O’Banion in Hart County on January 4, 1924.
She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Gordon, Nolan, and James O’Banion, granddaughter Julie M. O'Bryan and two step-sons Raymond and James Warner.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Bardstown. She enjoyed reading, her garden, canning, camping and spending time with her family. She has resided with her daughter, Sue, since the death of her husband.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn “Sue” Taylor (Kendrick) of Elizabethtown, step-daughter Patti Hardin (Delaine) of Harrodsburg and a very special friend whom she thought of as a daughter, Rose Hamilton (Jerry) of Bardstown. She will also be missed by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 pm until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Alzheimer’s Research, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, or to the charity of your choice.
