Giblert Jones

JONES, GILBERT FOSTER, 78, passed away May 10, 2014. Gilbert was a proud U. S. Marine veteran. He was also a longtime member of F.O.E #2173, the Louisville Bats Booster Club member and an avid UofL fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry E. and Oma C. Jones. Gilbert leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children Jimmy Jones (Kathy), Theresa Keene (Donnie) and Beverly Jones, grandchildren Eric Jones (Shannon), Kari Jones, Ashley Keilman, Amber Jones and Shane Jones, great-grandchildren Tayler and Jacob and brothers Norman Jones (Janet), Tommy Jones, Julius Jones (Virginia) and Carl Jones. A service will be held Tuesday at 11a.m. at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road. Visitation will be Monday from noon-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
