BRIGGS, GLORIA, 92, passed away on April 20, 2013.
She was a retired employee of Continental Insurance and a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Briggs; and her sister Cloria Cheatham.
Survivors include her son, Edward "Eddie" Briggs (Karen); three grandchildren, Steve Briggs, Don Briggs (Jeanna) and Cyndi Holcomb; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to her church.
