H. Clifford Merideth Jr. Share E-mail Visit Guest Book MERIDETH, H. CLIFFORD JR., 82, formerly of Louisville, passed from this life on Sunday January 17, 2010 at his home in Leitchfield, KY, with his family by his side.
He was a retired employee of the American Synthetic Rubber Corp. a Presbyterian by faith, and a Marine veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Merideth and a sister, Polly Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Creta Roney Merideth; daughter, Susan Howard (John); sons, Brad Merideth (Mary Ann), and Paul Merideth (Theresa); a sister, Jean Harp; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A service to celebrate Mr. Merideth's life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday. The family will also have visitation from 2-7 p.m. CST Wednesday at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
