Mr. Frost was born in Scottsville, KY.
He was a World War II veteran and retired from DuPont Chemical Company as a chemical operator after 35 years. He was a member of Shively Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Christena; and his parents, Virgil and Minnie Frost.
Mr. Frost is survived by his daughters, Linda G. Frost, Janett L. Goff (Les); son, Ronald N. Frost (Jenny); grandchildren, Teri Boydston, Cheri Schlager, David Goff, Jeremy Frost, Heather McLennan; great-grandchildren, Melissa Schlager, Schelby Schlager, Elizabeth Goff; and a brother, Veachel Frost.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Monday July 20, 2009 Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with graveside service and burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Online condolences to www.owen funeralhome.com
