WAFFORD, HARRISON BENJAMIN JR., 91, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore, KY.
A native of Winchester, he retired from American Synthetic Rubber, he was a Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Teamsters Union.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Wafford.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Catherine Maxine (Pollock); five children, Barry Wafford (Donna), Ronnie Wafford (Mary), Martha Ashby, Doris Shoemaker (Warren) and Harold Wafford; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
