Bunch, Harry Lewis BUNCH, HARRY LEWIS, 82, a resident of River Landing at Sandy Ridge, NC, passed away April 20, 2007 at High Point Regional Hospital. He was born October 27, 1924 in Newburg, MO, the son of Ted Paul and Harriett Dayton Bunch. A graduate of Newburg High School, he was a combat veteran in the US Army in War World II, serving as a radio operator in the 120th Armored Division. He participated in the liberation of the Dachau Concentration Camp. After honorable discharge, he moved to Louisville, working at the Louisville Transit Company. In 1957, he joined State Farm Insurance, retiring in 1985. Mr. Bunch was a charter member of Hillview Cumberland Presbyterian Church and moderator of the KY Synod of the CP Church 1973-74. He was Past Master of Sunset Lodge and remained a lifelong Mason. He was a friend to all: honest, loyal, trusted and respected. Mr. Bunch loved his family and was the best Papaw a child could have. A special thanks to all his new friends, nurses and aides at River Landing. Also to his friends, Jackie and Larry Widner, who made his move to High Point much more enjoyable. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Bunch; and two sisters, Garnet Affolter and Ouita Bunch. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marian Elizabeth Pullen Bunch, of River Landing, formerly of Louisville; a daughter, Nancy Bunch Cloutier (Michael), of High Point; a son, Barry Bunch (Sharon), of Centennial, CO; his favorite granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Bunch Worton (Darren), of Aurora, CO; three grandsons, Joel Scott Bunch, of Louisville, Matthew Todd Cloutier (Tammy), of Raleigh, NC and Travis Mark Cloutier, of Morrisville, NC; two great-grandchildren, Master Jackson Bradley Worton and Miss Reese Elizabeth Worton, of Aurora, CO; and a brother, Arlie Bunch (Wanda), of Guymon, OK. Memorial services: 10 a.m. June 4, 2007 at the Embry Bosse Funeral Home, with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
