Harry E. Howe Sr. Share E-mail Visit Guest Book HOWE, HARRY E. SR., 82, of Louisville, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009.
He was a retired supervisor of the air room at CSX Railroad-L&N Railroad. He was a member of the Masonic Suburban Lodge #740, and a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jean Howe; brother, Donald Howe; and sister, Mary Francis Hamilton.
Survivors include his devoted son, Harry E. "Butch" Howe (Kim); his loving granddaughters, Devin, Carmyn, and Kelly; brothers, Jack, Boyd and Ralph Howe; and sisters, Betty Manfield and Wilma Vaughn.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. Friday.
