Moore, Helen Lenorah,
95, of Louisville, passed away on November 9, 2015. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Helen was a former co-owner of Sav-a-Step Food Marts with her husband Al.
Born on January 30, 1920, in Louisville, KY, to the late Charles and Eva (Griffin) Hopewell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allie B. Moore.
She is survived by her children, Marla Moore and Scott Moore (Janet); grandson, Jordan Moore; granddaughter, Ali Moore; and one sister, Betty Callahan.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A funeral service to honor the life of Helen will be held on Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
