ROBINSON, HELEN KATHERINE, 90, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2013.

She was born February 19, 1923 to Ada and Ed Wiser. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, James Robinson and a sister Mable Mattingly.

Helen lived in south Louisville all of her life until she moved to Ponder Creek Retirement Community where she had many friends. She was a lifelong member of Hazelwood Baptist Church, a member of Gateway Friendship Club, OASIS of Walnut St. Baptist Church and an alumni of Louisville Girls High School.

She is the beloved mother of Linda Strong (Mike) and Judy Snyder (Buell); loving grandmother of Tammy Luhrsen (Jeff), Jeff Snyder (Lisa) and Lisa Egbert (Jeff); great grandmother to Gavin, Ian, Caleb, Alexander Snyder, Sydney Luhrsen, Logan and Declan Egbert, who where the joy of her life.

Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. A celebration of her life will be noon Tuesday. Interment is at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
