TATUM, HELEN L., 94, of south Louisville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011.
She was the fomer Helen Larkin, a native of Hardin Co., KY, World War II Navy veteran, a retired insurance clerk for Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and a member of Beechmont Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Chester A. Tatum; brother, Elmer Larkin Jr. and daughter, Sara Anne Tatum.
Survivors include sons, Gary Tatum (Doreen) and Mark Tatum (Kathy); eight grandchildren, Jennifer White (Todd), Julie Bennett (Kris), Andrew Tatum, Aaron Tatum (Jennifer), Ashely, Alicia, Anthony and Amanda Tatum; and one great-grandchild, Tatum Bennett.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 3 - 8 p.m. on Friday.
